How to switch sections

Loging in to mypurdue - scheduling assistant -

  1. Click on the course you want to see options for
  2. A pop up will appear showing alternate sections. (select section that works for you)
  3. The student clicks on the selection they wish to switch to, submit changes and then at this point will need to request approvals. That comment should include a statement like “I’m only requesting a section change. I am up to date on course material” for the instructor to know it’s not simply a late add.

Once approved by instructor and advisor it will be updated. It will have a W until the office of the registrar team runs their audit every week to find these and remove it.
